We are proficient in working with various accounting software, including Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, and others. We leverage the capabilities of these software platforms to efficiently manage and streamline the bookkeeping process for our clients.
Can you customize your bookkeeping services to suit our business needs?
Absolutely! We understand that each business has unique requirements. Our bookkeeping services can be tailored to align with your specific needs, whether it’s managing specific accounts, providing customized reports, or accommodating industry-specific regulations.
What software knowledge do your employees have?
Our staff members possess excellent knowledge of major software platforms such as Xero, QuickBooks, MYOB, Dext, and Handi.
All employees working with us are Xero Certified, ensuring their expertise in handling Xero-related tasks.
What workflow do you use? Can we use our own workflow?
We work with the client’s preferred workflow manager tool, such as XPM, FYI, or similar tools. We can seamlessly integrate
with your existing workflow to ensure a smooth collaboration.
Which application do you use to prepare income tax returns for companies and trusts?
We primarily use Xero for preparing income tax returns for companies and trusts. Additionally, we can also work through Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) on your system for software like Handi, Assistant, and other relevant applications.
What is included in the work deliverables for taxation services?
Our work deliverables typically include comprehensive workpapers, PDF versions of financial statements, and the completed tax return forms.
We provide these documents as part of our taxation service package.
Can you use our work template? Will it impact the price?
We have a standard format for our workpapers. However, if your organization has a pre-defined workpaper template,
we can smoothly adapt and work with it. The pricing for our services remains the same, regardless of the workpaper template used.
What security measures do you have in place?
– We prioritize data security and comply with the Australian Privacy Policy.
– Our operational center implements comprehensive security measures, including:
    o VPN connectivity for secure access.
    o 24×7 CCTV camera surveillance.
    o Installation of reliable antivirus software.
    o Strong authentication requirements for individual users.
    o Usage of password managers like LastPass & Zoho Vault.
    o Restricted mobile phone and storage device policy in the operation center.
    o Only dedicated team managers and executives have access to client folders/files.
    o All employees must sign a confidentiality agreement before joining our team.
How can I share client files with you?
– If you store your client data in Google Drive, Suites Files, FYI Document Manager, or OneDrive, you can grant us access to those files. This reduces the need for sharing documents repeatedly.
– If you don’t use any of the mentioned platforms, you can share your data via email when allocating work.
How will you access our clients?
– We can access your clients through various methods, including:
    o Remote desktop connections.
    o Google Drive.
    o Suites Files.
    o FYI Document Manager.
    o OneDrive.
How can I share working papers with you?
– We have standard workpaper formats that we can send to you via email. – If your organization has pre-defined workpapers, we can work seamlessly with them.
– If you already use platforms like Suites Files, Dropbox, FYI Documents, or Remote Desktop Connection to store your documents, you can grant us access to those storage platforms, and we will save our workpapers directly there.
How do you handle data backups?
– We regularly perform data backups to ensure the safety and availability of your information.
– Our backup systems are designed to minimize the risk of data loss or corruption.
– Backed-up data is stored securely and can be quickly restored if needed.
What measures do you have in place to prevent unauthorized access?
– We implement strict access controls and permissions to restrict unauthorized access to client data.
– Our team follows the principle of least privilege, granting access only to individuals who require it for their specific roles.
– We regularly review and update access permissions to align with any changes in your organization’s structure or personnel.
How do you protect against cyber threats and attacks?
– We maintain up-to-date security measures to protect against cyber threats and attacks.
– Our systems are equipped with firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and other security software.

Are your staff members working remotely or under monitoring?
Our entire staff works from our office in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India and does not work remotely. We maintain constant surveillance through CCTV cameras, require strong authentication measures for individual users, and strictly prohibit the use of mobile phones during work. Access to client folders and files is limited to designated team managers and executives. Additionally, all employees sign a confidentiality agreement before joining our team to protect sensitive information.
What is the contractual period?
Our resource model contracts typically have a duration of one year for either Part-Time Employment (PTE) or Full-Time Employment (FTE). You have the flexibility to terminate the contract by providing a one-month notice period.
Does the payment cover everything?
Yes, our pricing includes everything with no hidden charges or additional costs. It encompasses all the services we provide, and which is mentioned in the contract.
What is the timing difference?
Our workday begins at 6:30 AM Indian Standard Time (IST), which corresponds to approximately 11 AM-12 PM in Sydney time (subject to daylight-saving schedules). This enables us to align our schedule with the Australian time zone, with a time difference of around 5-6 hours.
We have clients in Xero Portal. How can we share them with Hornbill?
You can create a user profile under our name and grant access to the Xero file of your client. By providing us with the login credentials, we can access the client’s file. Alternatively, you can also grant access to your client’s file through our own user account.
Are there any setup fees or additional charges?
No, we do not charge any setup fees. Our pricing is transparent and all-inclusive, covering the services specified in the contract. There are no hidden costs or additional charges.
Can I customize the services based on my specific requirements?
Yes, we understand that each client’s needs may vary. We offer flexible solutions and can tailor our services to align with your specific requirements. We can discuss and accommodate any necessary customization to ensure our services meet your expectations.
How do I make payments?
We accept payments via bank transfers, online payment gateways, or other mutually agreed- upon methods. Our billing process is streamlined, and we provide detailed invoices for your reference and record-keeping.
Is there a minimum commitment period?
While our typical contracts have a duration of one year, we can discuss and accommodate shorter commitment periods based on your specific circumstances. We aim to provide solutions that meet your needs while maintaining flexibility.
How often will I receive invoices for the services?
Invoices are typically generated on every fortnightly. We ensure clear and transparent invoicing to facilitate efficient financial management for your business. Each invoice is supposed to be cleared in 7 working days.
What software knowledge do your employees have?

Our staff members possess excellent knowledge of major software platforms such as BGL360 & Class-Super

What is your turnaround time ?

After receiving all documents, our usual turnaround time for 1st stage query is 2 working days.

Is software charges included in quoted fees?

No. We charge extra for Software. Please contact us to know more.

We have clients in BGL360 Portal. How to share with Hornbill?

You have the option to generate a user profile under our name and grant access to the BGL360 file of your client. Once you create the user profile, we can log in using those credentials to gain access to the client’s file. Additionally, we have our own user profile, and you may also provide access to your client’s file through our user account.
